       Mid-Tenn's (formerly Nashville's) 8th Annual
                           Black College Tour
                                Date: March 11-19, 2004
                                (Based in Nashville, TN)

This tour is given in conjunction with J.U.M.P., Inc. (Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership, Inc.) The tours heads to 16 colleges, including Johnson C. Smith, Livingstone College, North Carolina A&T, Bennett College, Fayetteville State, Morris College, Benedict College, Claflin U., South Carolina State, Voorhees College, Savannah State, Bethune Cookman, Clark-Atlanta, Morris Brown, Spelman, and Morehouse. Students will also look at (but not tour) Allen U. and U. Of South Carolina.

Cost is $485.00.  This price includes: lodging, transportation from Nashville, TN, and most meals.                 Civil Rights Monument/Historical
                        Black College Tour 2004
                                        Dates: April 9-24
                              (Based in San Francisco, CA)

This tour is part of the "Young Scholars Program,"and will cover 15 days, 22 cities, 12 states, and visit 15 colleges. Also, students will visit 10 Civil Rights and Historical Monuments. The tour will depart from SFO to Washington DC.  Schools include Howard, Bowie State, Virginia State, Hampton, North Carolina A& T, Johnson C. Smith, Morehouse, Florida A&M, Alabama State, Tuskegee, Fisk, Tennessee State, Langston, Prairie View,

        17th Annual Black College Tours by EST
                  Dates: Two tours, one begins April 4th
                                 The other June 20th
                                      (Based in CA)

These two tours are given by Educational Student Tours.  They include round-trip airfare from Los Angeles. The cost is $1,253 (installments okay). The trip includes "quality hotels," chaperones, and meals. The April tour visits Tuskegee, Clark-Atlanta, Morehouse, Spelman, Livingstone, Winston-Salem, Norfolk State, Hampton, and Howard.  The June tour heads to Clark-Atlanta, Morehouse, Spelman, Tuskegee, Florida A&M,
Southern University (Baton Rouge), Xavier, and Dillard

              Mary L. Stone Black College Tour
                             Dates: April 11-18, 2004
                           (Based in Pittsburgh, PA)

The Kingsley Association is hosting this tour.  The tour is for high school sophomores and juniors, and includes visits to public, private, large and small black schools in rural and urban settings. The application fee is $25. The tour fee is $375 and is payable in installments. Travel expenses are approximately $250.                      2004 Heritage College Tour
              (El-Amin Travel & Meeting Agency)
                              Dates: April 11-17, 2004
                             (Based in Rochester, NY)

This tour is sponsored by the noted group.  The pay-schedule dates have passed, but you might want to make contact.  Cost: $590.  The schools to be visited are Delaware State, Howard, Morgan State, Bowie State, Virginia State, Hampton, Old Dominion, and Norfolk State.  For more info call: Annie El-Amin 585-288-6020.  Email: elamintravel@hotmail.com.  Deposits are

               METCO BLACK COLLEGE TOUR
                        Dates: April 13-April 25, 2004
                         (Based in Marblehead, MA)

                Boston and Vicinity Club Tour
                Of Historically Black Colleges
                            Dates: April 18-23, 2004
                              (Based in Boston, MA)

           Historically Black College Alumni, Inc.
                      Black College Bus Tour
                              Dates: April 20-25, 2004
                            (Based in New London, CT)

Students must submit an application, school transcript, and two letters of recommendation from a school administrator and complete an interview. This college tour has some mandatory workshops.  It departs from New London High School on Tuesday, April 20th and returns on Sunday. Schools to be visited include Howard, Morgan State, North Carolina A&T, Bennett College, Winston Salem State, North Carolina Central, and Saint Augustine College.  Chartered Coach and Hotel accommodations are included.
