This is our pick as one of the most important Black sites on the Internet.  If you are a student, parent, college counselor, community leader, mentor or just a Net browser, take this journey to what our future cadre of Black super-students is going to look like.  Click the link in the title of this page to see their pictures and read their biographies.  Hit the "Scholar Network" link.  Then hit the "Submit" button without signing in. Here are 60 of our future stars, all scholarship winners.  We are very happy to feature this site and hope that educators will bring it to the attention of our children.

Questions for a mentoring session or class lesson:

1) What makes these students successful?

2) What positive traits/aspirations do they share?

3) Did their parents and mentors play a role for these
students and if so, how?

4) Which students overcame odds, and why/how?

These are just a sampling of questions that we can use to help and  motivate our youngsters.
