14th Annual “Get on the Bus HBCU College Tour”
Based in Long Branch, New Jersey
(The Pearl of the Jersey Shore)
April 17-21, 2006This tour is co-sponsored by the Long Branch, New Jersey Housing Authority and the Department of Recreation. The tour will visit Bennett, Bowie State, Howard, Johnson C. Smith, Morgan State, North Carolina A & T, Saint Augustine, and Shaw. We will also tour the Capital Building inWashington, D.C. The cost of the 5 day/4night tour is $350.00 per student. The cost of the tour includes round-trip transportation on a deluxe coach bus, polo shirts, tee shirts, college information binder, back pack, 3 meals per day, four night stay at a 4 star hotel and 7 adult chaperones screened and approved by the City of Long Branch, NJ. Middle Tennessee’s 10th Annual
Black College Tour

Dates: March 16 – 24, 2006This tour is to the Mid-Atlantic United States, visiting fourteen (14) Southeastern Region schools. Students (and parents) can attend. Schools viisted will be Howard, Bowie State, Coppin State, Morgan State, Delaware State, U. of Maryland (Eastern Shore), Hampton, Norfolk State, Shaw, Saint Augustine’s, North Carolina Central, North Carolina A&T, Bennett, and Winston-Salem. Price: $ 620.00. This price includes: lodging, round-trip transportation from Nashville, TN, and all meals. Parents & chaperones can go for ½ price. A meeting will be held at the University School of Nashville, on Sunday, January 29, 2006 for those that are interested. One half of the fee will be due at this meeting. Dates: March 11, 18, 25 and April 1, 2006.
April 11-21, 2006This tour visits Howard, Delaware State, Florida A&M, Spelman,
Morehouse, Clark Atlanta, Johnson C. Smith, North Carolina A&T North Carolina Central, Hampton, Norfolk State, Virginia State, Virginia Union, and Winston-Salem. The tour also includes visits to the, Martin Luther King museum, Civil Rights Memorial, Dr. George Washington Carver Museum, heritage trails, art galleries, and more. Candidates must complete an application and submit accompanying and authorization documents. An interview may be required. The 2005-2006 application fee is $25.00, and the
program cost is $1,100.00. This includes transportation, meals,
